Established in 1989, ASHA Halfway Home, situated in Bengaluru's Jayanagar suburb, is dedicated to providing psychosocial rehabilitation for adults facing challenges such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Affective Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. The facility operates with a mission to reintegrate clients into their families and society, emphasising structured lifestyles, medication adherance, personal hygiene, interpersonal relationships, healthy work habits, and effective money/time management.

While we do not have an in-house psychiatrist, our advisory team includes experienced psychiatrists who provide support for attending mental health needs, especially in emergencies.
We do not offer medical care within our facility, but we facilitate clients' visits to their regular hospital and doctors for general health concerns, if not manageable at our halfway home.
We admit individuals aged 18 to 60 who have serious mental illnesses (SMI).
We strongly encourage clients to take up job offers during their stay with us.
We do not provide long-stay facilities at ASHA.

Families are encouraged to visit during pre-designated hours from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, as it is an important aspect of an individual's rehabilitation process.
Established in 1995, Jyothi Long Stay Home caters to individuals with severe psychiatric illnesses who require extended care and support. Admission is exclusive to residents who have completed a minimum 12-month rehabilitation program at the ASHA halfway home operated by RFS Bangalore.
Residents at Jyothi, stay for an indefinite period, as mutually agreed upon by families and the admission committee. With accommodation for 17 residents – 9 male and 8 female – family involvement is crucial, including regular visits and ongoing emotional and financial support throughout their stay.
